■ Takashi Homma

Born in Tokyo in 1962.
From 1991 to 1992, he was in London, where he worked for a fashion and culture magazine for young people, i-D. After he came back to Japan, he had his photography shows under the titles as "Waves", "Landscapes of suburbs", "Aerial Photography", and "Children in Tokyo". In 1998, he received the 24th annual Ihei Kimura Photography Award for "TOKYO SUBURBIA - Tokyo Kogai", in which he took pictures of the sceneries of the suburbs of Tokyo and the people living there.
